Operations Update January 2021

The harvest at block CAR1 in the Carrington/Coulter Bay operating area of the community forest is now complete, after delivering 15 logging truck loads of sawlogs to local saw mills during the two weeks leading up to Christmas 2020.

The CFGP is pleased with the work of our all Cortes logging crew in delivering this intermediate harvest (thinning) on approximately 6 hectares, totalling just over 1,000 m3 of logs.

The CFGP would also like to thank all the volunteers who came out to help with the community firewood day. Approximately 90 pickup loads, or 35 cords went out to seniors and other people in need in the community for the third year running.
