Forest Stewardship Plan Review

The Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) is the primary planning document required by government for licensees on public forest land including the Cortes Community Forest. An FSP must be revised every 5 years, and this process is currently under way for the CFGP.

The purpose and timing of this replacement is to incorporate results and strategies describing how the licensee (CFGP) will manage the resources legislated under the Forest and Range Practices Act and associated Regulations.

This revision is open to input from the public and the window for submissions is open until December 13. The revised draft FSP documents are available here:
